Meet Our Spanish Tutors

MasSpanish tutors are a very select group of experienced Spanish instructors. All are native speakers with top-notch teaching skills, a passion for the language, and a commitment to results. Just as important, our tutors are engaging, well-educated individuals who know how to make your classes fun, dynamic and relevant.

Eduardo

Eduardo was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela and is graduate of Bentley College. Eduardo has worked at Apple, Inc. in the US and he also ran a small business while living in Caracas. Eduardo's greatest interests are in computers, cars, travel, nutrition and cooking.

Challen

Challen was born and raised in Guatemala and graduated from Bates College with a degree in Environmental Studies. He worked as both a Spanish and ESL instructor in Guatemala, and taught Spanish to fellow students at Bates. He has a large collection of orchids in his home in Guatemala City, and he loves photography and yoga.

Alma

Alma, a native of Colombia, has been teaching Spanish for more than ten years. She has a degree in Sociology from Universidad Nacional de Colombia. In addition to teaching Spanish, Alma is also a dance instructor who gives salsa, merengue and zumba classes.

Joaquin

Joaquin is a native of Mexico with a business degree from the Universidad de Colima. Before becoming a Spanish tutor, Joaquin ran a sales training business. He has taught Spanish to many Boston professionals and at embassies and NGOs in Washington DC. He loves gardening and cooking and once worked as a professional pastry chef.

Carolina

Carolina was born and raised in Buenos Aires. She is a former lawyer and has a law degree from Universidad Catolica Argentina. Prior to joining MasSpanish as a tutor and business advisor, she completed a Masters at Harvard Extension School, focusing on Organizational Behavior. She enjoys traveling, cooking, reading and playing sports.

Karla

Karla is a native of Guanajuato, Mexico. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a double major in Global Studies and Spanish Literature. She is currently the Associate Director of a small and growing nonprofit that provides investment options in renewable energy and the environment. She enjoys traveling, cooking, running and playing tennis.
